The WannaCry ransomware attack, which claimed 200,000 victims in 150+ countries, has been the talking point for many in the last few weeks.
However, as you’d expect, WannaCry wasn’t the only threat/breach/hack that occurred this month. I’d like to bring some lesser-known stories to your attention.
As it stands, I estimate that at least 61,341,797 records were leaked in May. This is the number related to just 20 breaches, so we can expect the actual number of records compromised to be much higher.
